Blogging is a low-risk way to start a website. Basic web hosting packages cost a few dollars each month, and there are many platforms like WordPress combined with a good page builder make the design process straightforward.

The easiest way to explain affiliate marketing:
- You promote a product of someone else
- Sell it to someone
- You get commission. That's it!
If you want to take your affiliate commissions to another level, you'll need to learn email marketing. Simply, you can collect your audience emails by providing something valuable in exchange, such as an eBook, checklists, or free course. These are called "Lead Magnet".
By the way, you can create professional eBooks using software, you don't have to sit for hours create designs! You don't have to be a designer superstar to get your eBook done.
To start email marketing, you'll need a tool to capture emails and you'll need to use an autoresponder like GetResponse and set it up to send automatic email to everyone who sign up to your email newsletter. In your emails, you can sell more products to your audience.
That's email marketing in a nutshell!
Is affiliate marketing only done through blogging? No, you can make it with videos as well.

But if you have an excellent experience in your job, you may work as a consultant with much higher rates.
6. Become a Consultant
Again, if you enjoy your current work but don't want to be away from home, a consultancy may be a good option for you. You can do that by marketing your services to clients who wish to leverage your insights without hiring someone full-time.
The pay of consulting can vary depending on factors such as your experience and reputation. Depending on the type of service you provide and the company you work for, you may be able to charge high rates for your skills.
7. Create and Sell Online Courses
I think everyone has some knowledge that One of my favorite ways to make money online, why?
Because it is "set and forget"!
- You create your course for one time
- Upload it to any hosting: You can self host your course -put it on your own website- or use Teachable or Udemy.
- Then sell it to your audience on autopilot!
- Of course you can go back and update your course any time you want.
The premise is simple. You compile all of the insights you’ve accrued on a given topic into a course that people can do on their computers.
But keep in mind that there is already a lot of competition in the online course selling market, so it will likely take some time for your course to become popular. It's important to have a strong marketing strategy and build a loyal following before you can expect any real money to come in.
8. Tutoring Online
Online tutoring entails a one-on-one session that occurs on the web in real-time as a form of teaching.
For example, TutorMe and Skooli are websites that help teachers find clients and take a commission. Classes usually happen over video call, and as you would expect, what you teach depends on your specific skillset.
Language tutors are in high demand, specially with international students hoping to improve their English. If you're a proficient English speaker and have a qualification, you could soon be making money online.
9. Write eBooks and Sell on Kindle
Another popular source of passive income, writing and selling e-books, involves a similar set of challenges to creating and selling digital courses.
The competition is intense but thanks to Amazon Kindle, you simply need to write the book, format it, and upload it to Amazon. You can even have a ghostwriter write your book for you.
Once uploaded, customers can buy and download your eBook from any device or computer worldwide.
If you have a loyal social media following or can generate enough interest via a strong marketing strategy, you can and will make money online selling eBooks!
10. Drop Shipping
Dropshipping is a business model where you sell products without keeping any inventory. Instead, you create a website and advertise products for sale. When a customer buys these products from you, the dropshipping company that you work with will fulfill the order and then send them to your customer.
That means you're the middleman between the manufacturer and the customer.
In this business model, you don't have to but anything. All you need to do is to:
- Source dropshipping products.
- Create your store.
A popular place to source dropshipping products from is AliExpress. You can find a lot of inexpensive products on AliExpress to sell to your customers. Then, you can create a store on Shopify to get started.
11. Print on Demand
Printables can be sold as a way to earn money from home. There are several ways to sell printables, such as through your own website or on an Etsy store.
If you don't have the skill or talent to create high-quality printable designs, you can hire someone on Fiverr to do it for you and receive a commercial reselling license. You can then sell these designs as if they were your own.
Very popular print on demand products are T-shirts and mugs.
In this business model, the only thing you need to do is to make a design, then upload it to the print on demand service. When someone orders a T-shirt for example, the company will print it and send it to the customer, and you get paid!
Again, you need an existing audience or an advertising technique to get your printable hustle off the ground.
12. Build a Mobile App
If you are a developer, creating your own mobile app can be lucrative. Market research is key to determining if your idea will be profitable, and there are many successful apps available. The success of an app depends on finding a niche with great need and providing a quality product.
There are a few ways to make money with your mobile app, which includes:
- Including ads in the free version of your app.
- Selling a paid or ad-free version of the app.
- Adding microtransactions in your app – this especially works well if your app is a mobile game.
Mobile apps can be a great way to make passive income, as users continue to buy from you even after updates are made. This income is usually passive, as updates are required for the app to function properly and changes in mobile operating systems occur frequently.
13. Software Development
Coding is an increasingly in-demand field, with the reach of technology expanding its tentacles deeper into our lives.
